Is “Broad City” Season 3 on Hulu?
The third season of “Broad City” premiered on Feb. 17, 2016, on Comedy Central. Sadly, though, the third season is the only one that’s not streaming on Hulu!
But, if you have yet to watch the show, this is the perfect time to catch up!
Here’s a quick rundown of everything you need to know about one of the funniest shows on TV:
“Broad City” Overview
You’ll like Broad City if you like:
- “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”
- “Master of None”
- “The League”
The Stars in “Broad City”
“Broad City” started out as a web series on YouTube back in 2009, and then it premiered on Comedy Central on Jan 22, 2014.
Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson are not only the creators of the show, but they are also star and write in it. Glazer is one of the funniest comedians on television right now, but it’s the chemistry between Glazer and Jacobson that really make the show work.
The appeal in the duo’s creation to me is similar to the appeal of “Workaholics.” If you graduated college within the last five years and mix “adult” responsibilities with the occasional keg party on a Tuesday night, you can relate to this show. There is a fine line of being responsible while not getting boring, and this show nails that.
“Broad City” is also appealing because of its authenticity. You might know someone like Abbi or an Ilana, or you may even see some of them in yourself.
Hannibal Buress, Arturo Caston, and John Gemberling are all strong supporting characters in the show.
Streaming “Broad City” on Hulu
Right now, only Season 1 and 2 of “Broad City” are streaming on Hulu. Both seasons consist of 10 episodes, so you can catch up pretty quickly.
Once you binge and get caught up, you can watch the new season on Comedy Central at 10 p.m. on Wednesdays.
